The world is upside down.

Walk with me and see what I see,                           Stand with me and feel what I feel,                        Walk into my paintings, view my vision,            Walk with me and see what I see,

View our landscape as an abstract.                         Calm, tranquility, peace, colour, form.                Take a flight, like a bird, a view from above.      Landscape with scars of its past, and marks of its future.

Clothe the raw bones of our earth,                         A sense of place, a sense of being,                           Patterns in the landscape,                                       A function, a use, a construction an evolution of resource,

Wrap in a blanket of shape, colour and mass.    A vision, a memory, an instant frozen in time.   An encapsulated moment of our history.          Is it any different to a field of sunflowers?

Beauty is within the eye of the beholder.
